I would like to buy a cue with no wrap, 4-6 points, 5/16*18, a butt on the thin side at the very back - like predator.

price, maybe $350-700.

Any tips to where to start looking?

Any big company that would alter the joint?

I know I will have to ask around, but anyone knows about a not so expensive custom-guy that makes 2-3 of these specs as is?

thats the man to speak with. my varney makes jam up cues. he can give you what you want at a very good price.

most importantly, his customer service is great. :D :D

You are welcome to check out the cues on my website (www.triplecrosscues.com) and see if one excites your interests. At least one has similar traits to what you suggested. The 5/16X18TPI can be added to any of the cues listed for a little more. Thanks for looking in advance.
