anyone know the Rules in playing the ghost

like one of the main things i would like too know is if i break an scratch or knock the CB off the table an say i make 2-3 balls do i Respot them or they stay off the table?

i would like too know the right rules for the ghost

You can play it any way you want. Make the game as tough or as easy as you like. Some peeps count the 9 on the snap, some don't. Some consider a scratch on the break as a loss, some don't. Some respot balls made on the break, some don't. See what I mean.

Personally I can't beat the 9 ball ghost. I rack 9 balls, break, leave the last 6 balls on the table, and take ball in hand. Legal combos are good. 9 on the snap doesn't count. Scratch on the break is not a loss. Playing that way I'm about even with the ghost on a 7ft Diamond Smart Table with deep Pro cut pockets.

As far as I know you break the balls, then take ball in hand. Any miss is a loss, run out is a win. Snapping the 9 or 10 ball is a win. There is a variety of ways to make the game tougher, but that's the just of it.

thanks for the Quick Replys i never played the ghost b4 lol ima nit i know hehe ^_^ i will start playing it soon next time i get too a table donno how good i will do but i will try an let yall know how i do

As mentioned there are numerous ways to play it, some including safety play. But when referring to playing the ghost around here and whether someone can beat the 6-7..or 9 Ball ghost etc. the rules are pretty simple. Break and BIH after the break. You can scratch on the break and all balls made stay down. Game ball on the break wins. If you don't run out or legally make the game ball early (carom, billiard or combo for example) with BIH after the break, you lose.
