I'm at a tournament, I'm brain dead, i have seen these cues,,,,brass jointe, brass pin is on the shaft ..........what kind ? a guy here wants to know and my head is lost..........OTB

Usually that just means cheap import cues of numerous brands.

I think OTB can recognise an import , so he's probably referencing high-end cues .
Burton Spain used a joint as described.
John Robinson used that type from about '64-'78.

could be a snooker cue maybe, they often use brass joints with the pin on the shaft
