Which one is it? Have to drop info for area players but lol I forgot to ask them which room!

O'brien's and KC's Timeout have both received ABCL info, it's now up to 8 players in the Evansville area whether or not they participate, BIH players.

Had dinner with my first role model and still hero Nick Varner in Owensboro after Evansville. We went down to meet Razor Ray Schultz at his sisters club Randy's and got to demo some American Rotation with a few local, John, Mike and Chad. As usual everyone suspect about new game but once played, game enjoyed :) Thanks guys and I REALLY hope we get 8 players in Owensboro and surrounding area so we can get Nick to play in our first session!

Ray Schultz, hadn't heard that name in a while.

Owensboro is a super cool little town.

Got the Executive Inn, Moonlight BBQ and the Brass Ass Saloon if it's still there.

Razor Ray may now be Railroad Ray, has a nice job with the railway. Didn't get to see Ex INN, MBBQ and definitely not the BAS :(

The executive inn is gone and so is the brass.that just sux!!they tore down the EInn bout 2 yrs ago.what a couple of great places lost to the economy.

Spent a lot of time around Owensboro and the Moonlight is the NUTZ!

I remember the old "8 ball." Had some good action there and nice tournaments. Also Nick's joint "The Rack N Cue". I played Ray and Nick 10 dollar sets when I was about 14 or 15 probably. I know them both well.

The Corner Pocket is also really nice (just as nice as the 2 rooms on the east side).

There is also Sportsman't Grill and Billiards (on the west side), and they have some really nice Brunswick tables (at only $4.00 per hour, and free with a lunch order).

The Executive Inn was imploded and only the parking lot remains. It was a sad loss of history.

The Brass Ass Saloon was gone in the late 80's to early 90's.

"Moonlite" (notice the spelling) is still there and still making the best mutton on earth.

Owensboro introdiced me to Blue Grass Music..

That E-Inn was awesome. Sorry to hear it's been demolished. All I can remember is that breakfast buffet. I stayed there many times in the mid to late 1980's when I was commissioning the SIGECO Culley Power Station next to the Alcoa Plant. On one of my stays the E-Inn was hosting the Kentucky Police Officers Conference at the same time as the International Blue Grass Music Assoc. Probably not by mistake that the Police scheduled at the same time. I didn't know crap about blue grass until this weekend. Impromptu blue grass jams everywhere you looked. Allison Krauss was there and it was shortly after she joined Union Station. She's been playing with them ever since. She must have been about 18 or 19 years old. She was already like royalty. I still have dreams about her sometimes and when I listen to her music I always remember the E-Inn.

And yes, the Mutton at Moonlite was amazing. their Sunday brunch was freaking awesome.

Mutton is the teacher...
