Quick tip question

I keep all my tips in a plastic storage organizer. Someone told me a should put them in plastic zip baggies, that it helps them stay fresh. It still doesnt suck the air out like a food saver, so is there a point to this? I have a pretty big inventory, layered and leather, just asking for some input from repair guys. Thanks, Chip

Most tips are sealed with a coating. That should keep them fresh. There is not much of a coating on Elkmaster or tips like them. Those I have had dry out & get harder on me, but it took many years...JER

You can get the Zip Lock food saver containers that you can squish the air out of. I keep my tips in a couple of those. Don't know if it makes much of a difference, but thats where they are.
