Actually its been almost 2 years now. He's was a great player and a really nice guy. I'm glad I got to talk to him before he left us. RIP Ginkster :-(

George died March 8, 2011. We're about 6 weeks away from the 2 year anniversary.

I knew Ginky and remain friends with many people that were very close to him. With that said, I'm very certain they're happy you keep him in your thoughts. Just please, going forward, if you can be more selective with your subject lines. My heart sinks every time I see "RIP" on azb wondering if I've lost yet another friend.
 
I met Gink at Comet Billiards many years ago in Parsippany NJ along with John Alicea (which passed away just a few months ago as well).I used to always kid around with him and ask him to sell me his cue but he wouldn't budge lol. I don't even know what the one in the video is. Gink was a very cool dude and would give you pointers every chance he saw you make a mistake. Very unique individual and a master of the sport. Sad he passed when he did......still makes a lot of us stop and think why.
