thanks guys for the positive feedback ..........we love the winner break like you said you always have a chance to put something together if you fall behind in a match ...........plus we love to see the players string racks ...........i think we are going to have a great turnout

Tournament was light on players (28? maybe) but as always ran smoothly. None of the local heroes made it (Whitey, Gary, Andy) so a lot of guys had a chance to win. The calcutta went off way better than I expected. Brian Groce went in the big blind as a steal. I really didn't expect the calcutta to get over $1,000 like it did so I stopped too early.

I left mid-day yesterday so I didn't get to see who won.

I dont know who won, 2nd 3rd. Guess Sam is too busy to update the thread?

$1000 in the calcutta, 500 for 1st? 250 for Groce? Kind of like flipping a coin for 250. If you had a 2 sided coin.

I wonder if it got completed on Saturday or dragged into Sunday?

My fantasy team with Aaron Rodgers kicked ASS, and I am still in the last man standing pool, started with 26///10 left.

I have never lost to so many 9's on the break. I will remember that loss.
I know that you had at least 4. How many for sure????

Nice and clean place for a tournament (no smoking)..Ran very smooth

Some places in Illinois allow smoking...that can be BAD in a small space.
