Racking Secrets II Now Ready

J.T.

I got mine yesterday also! great compliment to Racking Secrets Volume I.

As for the typo, I think most would not have noticed it if you had not mentioned it...

Personally I think it makes it more collectible as there will not be very many of those jackets around...

Content, Presentation A+, other than the twisted rack segment the video quality was first rate...

Laughed my arse off when you tried like 10 fricking times to not make the one in the side in the later nine ball segment...

I have a few questions at the moment that came to mind after watching it once last night; that others might have as well.

1. What size were/are the corner and side pockets on that table?
2. What kind of cloth were you using? it looked like just plain felt and not SpeedCloth or 860.
3. Has that Gold Crown been Diamondized? with Artemis Intercontinental cushions?
4. Is that GC a full-size 4-1/2x9 (50x100) or a pro/super 8?
5. Would you prefer a Gold Crown over a Diamond if somebody was to give you a new one for nothing? Why?
6. Which Ball Set/Manufacturer were you using? Do you have a personal preference, given the choice?
7. Is it my imagination or are you not breaking as hard as you did in Volume 1? what I mean by that is you appear to be breaking better in Volume II than I; but you appear to be doing better with less effort and less full body action.
8. Which is your personal favorite rack to use at this time? Slug Doctor, Magic Rack or ?
9. I have been using the Delta-Elite triangle for a while and seem to get decent & consistent racks; I know a lot of the pro tours and players are still using the Delta-Elite; what is your opinion/comparison of the Delta-Elite vs. Slug-Doctor/Magic Rack or?

Keep up the great work!

You laughed? I laughed when readin this reply on my phone, lol, you're nuts but here goes;

Pockets are under4.5, two balls don't fit.

Cloth is 760 BUT there has been OVER 20K breaks on it in the last 5-6 months, easily over.

Original rails on GCIII

9ft

Tough question, Diamonds play tougher so I always feel its easier to practice on a diamond and then go out to play on a GC.

It is not your imagination I am breaking much more casual and if I look at RS1 the way I was breaking I get mad just looking at it. I want to get the message across that if your approach, set up and planned technique is good that you too can casually get good results feeling like you're hitting it at 80-90%. I could have hit them all a lot harder but think I would have sent wrong message. (This was a very good an important question)

I think we should all own magic racks but do love the slug dr a touch more. Once you own that you can easily train your own table or an entire pool room and if anything is off it can be easily fixed, both great products.

I'm sure the Delta Elite is of very high quality but I've always said you could have THE best rack in the world but its the cloth underneath that matter most so I would take the SD or MR over any rack.

What no #10? How you stop on 9? 10 ball remember!!

Thanks
Joe T

Sorry for all the questions, just a detailed oriented kind of person you know?

thanks for the response J.T. ...

I appreciate it.

I was just looking for some of the subtleties that you did not cover or I missed somehow on the dvd...

FYI:
Your 10-ball coverage was so-good IMHO; the only 10-ball question that came to mind so far I did not ask yet; because I wanted to spend some more hands-on time with your suggested racking order on Volume II. vs. Volume I. which I have been having good luck with for a long time... to see if I could answer that one for myself, get back to you on that.

What about ball preference/use when you have the choice? with your great attention to detail, I am curious if you noticed in your vast breaking experience; some kind of difference in the durability/playability of the different lines of Aramith/and or other ball sets out there?

hate to ask. but since he asked about a racking pattern. Do the 2 and 3 balls have to go on the corners on the rack? sorry about kinda off topic. waiting to get my copy

I don't have an exact answer for that but there is definitely a difference breaking an old set of even high quality balls and a new set, new sets make the side pocket balls much easier.

Some tournaments require the 2&3 on the corners but it's not a 10 Ball rule itself and in the dvd I recommend they try another spot that may make running out a little tougher?

Joe...

Stop Making the 1 in the side!!!!! I laughed so hard.

Great DVD, Great Information, its right up there with Racking Secrets I.

Anyone serious about pool needs your DVD.

Thanks again.

Thanks Carl, now there's a problem no player on the planet ever thought they would have and not like!
Honest honest, 8 in the corner, 1 take, 10 in the corner, 1 take, 1 not in the side, like 9 takes!! Murphy's law I guess.

On the first page you said you would offer a package deal for racking secrets 1 and 2? I am interested in buying both but of course trying to find the best deal, thanks ahead of time.
