Radial pin question.

I've heard, in some circles, that radial pins have a tendency to work themselves loose.
I am wondering if anybody here has experienced this.

*sorry if this has been covered already...
I'm not a forum troll, but I'm working on it.;)

Properly installed Uni-Loc radial screws DO NOT WORK LOOSE. You can partially unscrew a 10 year old cue with a radial screw and still play pool.

I've had some brought to me that were doing this. Re-facing the joint has always fixed the problem.
Since most people are now using the undersized tap in the shafts, it's a less common occurrence.

I have seen it on a cue or two that had a sloppy shaft id hole bored. Like Sheldon & Paul said...when done correctly its not an issue. If you have this problem its an easy fix to plug it & redo it proper. If you want to tighten it up yourself, you may even get by with coating the threads with a thin CA...take care not to get the CA on the shaft face.
