Radial Pin shafts getting quite tight

I have a number of custom cues, most with Radial Pin joints. Cues are at least 10 years old. Most of the cues are getting quite hard to screw together, as the radial pin joints are getting quite tight and are becoming difficult to tighten completely. Any thoughts on how to fix this issue?

Thank you.

Multiple shafts and cues.
Seek a Cue mechanic. Could be a dirt/humidity problem.

When radial shafts and shafts with 3/8x10 and similar get tight over time, it's almost always humidity. Louisiana folk know about humidity. LOL I'm sure you're talking about wood shafts as CF shafts are unaffected.

Sounds like it might be a humidity issue. Any competent cuemaker will be able to help you, it's a very quick and cheap fix.
