PFD also now has a smaller 5/16 radial.
Omega cues of Taiwan also make knock-off radial.
dickie i believe you have miss understood the trade mark which is uniloc radial pin but the only trade mark is uniloc the word radial can not be trade marked because like radial tires and radial ball screws and so on the word radial is used in many things the same as the word pin so uniloc is the only thing they have as a trade mark name you can use radial pin but not a uniloc radial pin in other words you could call them dickies radial pin and no one could say a word only if you use the word uniloc in front are in any portain of the name as for the threads per inch there 7.62 threads per inch the inside balls are surpose to be .312 and the outside should be 372 to .375 but uniloc does not hold very close tolerance in these areas and thats why i believe alot of cue makers have went to making there own well having someone make them and another thing uniloc charges way to much for them and keep raising them every year so they are the ones who screwed there selfs out of alot of sales. the ones i use are not under cut on the bottom that goes in the cue we do that to add more weight to the pin to get glue relief we just open the cue up a little more to get glue relief plus it keeps from spliting the cues . bill strout made this pin for a cue paul at uniloc had him build and then paul started to make and sale it to the public it,s based off a ball screw from a cnc machine for zero back lash setups. and i,ll say it is in my believe the best pin ever made for pool cues and i have used it from the beginning with great results the joints line up so perfect with the design and they are twice as likely to never strip out like most wood to wood pins we also use g 10 in ebony nose cues and brass stainless and alum and poutter they transfer vibes better than any of the pins and hit awesome i hope this info helps. uniloc got gretty and did,nt keep up there quailty controll to justify there increased yearly cost so now cue builders are doing this to give the customers a better cue and save them money. but i will say there quick release setups are the best on the market and they are quailty made if they would have done so with the radial pin they would have not lost so much sales but there price on the quick release is to high thats my thought others might not agree. All Radial pins are made by Uni-Loc, who are the owners of the Trade Name Radial Pin. Now there are other pins out there that look the same and might or might not have the same dimmentions as the Radial Pin however these copies are not and can not be legaly called a radial pin.
