Radio show doing On The Road again segment every week.

There is a radio station in Kansas City Mo that is having Daryl Smith doing a pool related show every Sunday at 5:00 Central time.

Jpegsports.com It will be on 1140 am or 102.9 fm. in the Kansas city area. Don't know how far the signal will reach though.

There will be many aspects of pool Daryl will be covering on his show and I'm pretty pumped about it. Today he will have a friend of mine, jeff knapp on the show.

Daryl called me and asked if I'd do a 5 minute segment each week about life on the road of a pool player and what's going on.

Anything to help and make this pool world of ours a little more exciting i'm all for.

Today is the first show I will be participating. the show starts at 5:00 central time and i think I'm going to be on live at around 5:40.

We need more players doing things like daryl for sure.

Keep up the great job there in Kansas City that your doing.

I'm sorry I missed this. Don't know if the signal would have reached me anyway. Maybe they will syndicate the show!

This radio show is quite good. I enjoyed listening to the stories and interviews. I was going to post a new thread to promote the show anyway, but Gene beat me to it. :)

I'll be checking in with the show every Sunday at 5 PM (CST). Easiest way for me is to call the phone number ((213) 493-0152) and put it on speakerphone. Daryl and his guests also discuss many of the current hot topics on AZB, which is pretty cool.

This is another way to get more quality pool content in a different format. Hope some of you check it out.

Any chance an archive of recordings of the show can or is created for people to download and listen to later?
 
Thanks Gene, It's going be a lot of fun and learning experience. I'm working on getting the shows archived and available via podcast right now. Hopefully, it will be up in a few days.

Way to go, Darryl. I did not know you were doing this. Now I have two radio shows I have to listen to - yours and my wifes.

I'll be listening for a good story about any VNEA tournaments in the Bahamas. :)
