Our players were like that in the action days….what you’re seeing in Alex’s video…quadruple it…that’s what the Rack was like in Detroit…The players there are unflappable. The amount of noise and movement going on in that room and around their table was crazy.
Most players I know (including me), would be using ear plugs or headphones and still hating the hyper fans on the rail who couldn't sit still.
Their level of focus is admirable. I wish I had it.
At least they all had shoes and socks, must be a dress code at this joint. The players there are unflappable. The amount of noise and movement going on in that room and around their table was crazy.

Money games in the Philippines reminds me of the old days here at home. Maybe that's why I enjoy it so much. Over there it's wide open, gamble all you want and stay up all night. They amp it up a notch by making bets on every game! And they pay off after each game, then make new bets before the next game starts. That's why you will often see delays as long as five minutes between games. The incoming player cannot break until all bets are down. It's loud, it's crazy and I love every minute of it. God bless them, when I come to a match someone will get up and give me a front row seat. Best of all they show respect! Our players were like that in the action days….what you’re seeing in Alex’s video…quadruple it…that’s what the Rack was like in Detroit…
….and they were betting a lot more money…..and all the good action rooms were like that.
The guys who wanted respect and peace and quiet on their shot, Minnesota Fate would tell them “Go play in a wax museum.”
Here's a 3-ball in the final rack that was sick.
That cut didn't even look possible. Here's a 3-ball in the final rack that was sick.
Great final rack. Nice safety by Raga and Alex gets lucky and kicks in the five. I love the way the crowd is all abuzz until the player gets down on the shot. Then they go completely quiet. Here's a 3-ball in the final rack that was sick.
