I have a Brunswick GC4 9ft pool table and would like to know if the Brunswick GCx Carom table rails will fit on the GC4 pool table?

Thanks. Interesting link. Quite a bit of engineering involved in the design of the inserts. I called the guy and it was way too much money for me.

The GC 1&2 was offered in carom and snooker in 10' table.
The GC 3&4 was not offered in 10' carom or snooker, so if u have a set of GC carom rails they fit a 10' table... Not a 9' GC 4 like ur hopes are to do.

Kinda hard to be sure exactly what rob is saying, but it seems as though he is stating there are not 9' gold crown carom tables.

That is not true, there are.

Whether or not they are a fit for the gc4, I dunno, but I would like to know too, coz I have a gc4and love billiards.

Honestly though, probably too much of a hassle to be swapping out the top, just to play on a 3c table that didn't play like a real one anyway. I just play around the pockets and it isn't that bad.

Of course, it is hard to get 5 rails, so I am avg about .0002627...:embarrassed2:

I'm an avid lover of the game too. I try to play off the pocket tables for practice since there normally isn't a cushion table around where I roam. I notice that I get a weird reaction of the balls in the first few inches near either side of the pockets (both on corners and side pockets). Though I think the idea of pocket fillers is an interesting approach to the problem, I feel the that it may not provide the same ball response as a complete rail. It just prevents the balls from falling into the pocket. There would still remain a "dead zone" on those rails. Just my opinion as I've never had the opportunity to try the pocket inserts.
