rails for a GC3

thanks for linking this Matt. My next option is having a master cabinet builder make me some.

Travis,

I looked into the same thing a few years ago.

There is a guy in northern Ohio who has a bunch of original brunswick parts. He has sheets of the original Rosewood formica that brunswick used on the GC1's. He also sells the rail sights. I was going to order the set of formica/sites and has a local cabinet maker replace the formica on my rails. I think this would be the best option to get "new" rails. I will look up his name...

Well my subrails are hosed and one of my rails has more filler than real wood itself i believe.

Nope , rails were covered when i got it. Didnt see all the screws when i loaded the table, had a friend help load. i got the table for 1300.00. I guess you get what you pay for. Another 2000.00 and i might have a table. Anyways SD Billiards is working hard for me to find a solution to this hack job. If a pool hall has tables forsale, make sure you either have your table mech check it out or have to knowledge on what to look for. The table is not perfect cosmetically, but i really dont care on cosmetic. i just wanted a solid playing table.
