I have new rails on 7' Valley. The rails play great except side pocket banks. If you hit the OB anything more than softly the OB reverses as it comes off the rail. Could it be just the humidity or have I not installed them right? I'm outside in a sceened room in Florida. Johnnyt

a friend of mine told me that because valley cushions screw directly into the rails the, torque you use to screw them in can effect the way balls rebound.

It may not be your rails. If you are putting english on your queball it will naturally reverse the spin on the object ball. Right hand spin on the queball will give the object ball left hand spin. You have to compensate for this when banking. A center hit on the queball will give you a true bank. Left hand spin on the queball will shorten up the angle of the bank and right hand spin will lengthen the angle.
