Brazilian on brazilian and this was a major hit at the expo. A lot of cuemakers couldn't put this blank down. The veneers are westerncues and they came out vivid and bright. We are working on the rings, this one is spoken for. But if you have an idea for a cue and want a price, PM me and I'll see if Paul can make it work. I don't think I need to say who made it.. but his initials are P.F.

We can now add these full splice blanks to Paul's list of major cuebuilding innovations in the past year. These go beyond a new inlay pattern, or creative veneer combinations...these blanks (and his "faux" full splice pointwork, as well as his insanely complex wraparound butterfly prongs) are revolutionary in a field where truly new ideas are few and far between.

I love it always a fan of butterfly cues mixed with traditional points; This one makes all my Mariposa's to simple....

Nice cue,

Thanks for all the PM's. This cue is sold, and yes there are many designs in the works, some with great color, and with some far out woods. One might be an ebony/ebony rainbow or a flame cue. We may do a macassar and purpleheart cue similar to my cue. There are a lot of ideas floating around, and we are even looking at some advanced ring work. Realize, the only limitation is one's creativity and the perspicaciousness to pull the trigger on a new design.

As much an A-jointless cue as any

Some people have taken exception to me calling this a full splice. Sorry, it's as much a full splice as any cue on the market today. It's a cue thats made sans an a-joint so there is no screw in the center of the cue. It's splices run radially and laterally, so there is tremendous strength and rigidity added to the cue. Paul had one come out not as he would have liked and did the stand up test, it took an awful amount of pounding and jumping just to get it to move. One thing I will talk to Paul on tonight is a way to bring the handle straight down using his splice to do a wrap and have a traditional "full spliced" butterfly. Like I said, lots of ideas... :D

Roger,

I know I don't need to convince you of this but you know as do a few others out there, that I have been singing Paul's praises for YEARS now as one of the few guys in the game who is truly pushing the envelope every time out of the gate. He is, in my opinion, THE most underrated cuemaker out there today. He is an innovator whose designs are always new and different. And, to his credit, they are always (IMO) amazing!!!

I gotta get on his list!

*&^ Crap! That is (^&%*&^% <insert expletive> amazing... and familiar! Tell me truly, did Paul draw even the tiniest bit of inspiration from this design I drew years back? See http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=7194 . Glad to see someone turning my fantasy cue into something realistic.

I am so tempted to get one now that the dollar is weak and the price is quite reasonable. So... is it possible for this (Paul's) construct to be done with a burl handle without compromising on the build? Please advise.
