He's a Filipino instructor.
Not a touring pro but has won a big tournament in San Francisco.
If you ask Efren for lessons, he'd tell you to go see Ramon instead.
He's in the Philippines now afaik.

Just booked a lesson with him for this Saturday. :)

I know this is an old thread but you just posted yesterday. I think he came through NY some months back. I wanted to meet him but didn't get a chance. Can you let us know how your lesson went? Are you in the U.S.? If so, what region of the country are you in?

Yes, I'll report back. I'm in NJ. Should be fun!

Well the lesson went great! I only paid for an hour lesson and he gave me two hours. You can tell that Ramon truly enjoys teaching as he was very enthusiastic when he'd tell me how to do something and I'd do it on the table. Really nice guy! One of the biggest things that I learned was how to improve my stance. It's helped a lot so far. He'll be coming around here again soon and I'll be sure to book another lesson with him.

Sounds great! Thanks for the follow-up. I hope to meet him someday.
