finally played the way it should be....concentrated (til a phone call disturbed me), in good rhythm,confident...until i played bad position for the breakshot, made it but missed the rack. Still happy :)

didn´t you ask me to stay out of your threads and you would stay out of mine ????

Are you still here??

When I heard you were up to your old tricks again, I could not resist.

I was unable to watch your "83 ball run" :D, because you had wisely taken it/them down.

I guess you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

By the way, I played with a guy Monday who when I left the room knocked the ball in with his stick and kept going as if he was on a run. Do you have any buddies in our neck of the woods?

Here are the two sides I know. The balls before the miss and the position of the balls after the miss when he set them up again. And I heard he explained that his girlfriend had called "making" him miss, so he did not think it should count as a miss and that is why he once again tried to pawn off a bogus run as a legit run.

I am and i will stay here and before you dont know both sides of the story dont judge no matter what you hear ! But unnecessary to talk about it now. think what you want or what you have been told.

I'll Never Forget Clifford

dmg,

Oh my God, that is so funny! I was playing a black guy named Clifford a little $20/rack 8 ball at the Pub Charles, a strip joint in Scranton, PA, about 20 or 22 years back. And he was doing the same thing - cross side banking and steering the OB in with his cue. Funny part is I never saw him - I was too busy watching the live entertainment when he was at the table. Our good friend Winston846 witnessed it all though, but didn't tell me about it until we left the joint. I'll let him tell us why he didn't scream HEY! WTF BRO!!! YOUR CHEATIN!!!! If I remember correctly, I about broke even that night, which wasn't bad considering.

My life is worth a LOT more than $20. This was definitely the type of place where you could have got stabbed, and that's exactly what I told him - that I wasn't getting stabbed over $20.

In a place like that, you either hand the $20 over to Clifford, or it goes in the G-string. Whadda-ya-gunna-do?

Anyway... here is a link to some photos of interest. (sorry, no stripper pics)

14.1 = Integrity

even after reloading the page, it stops at this image:

That picture shows the object ball and the cue ball just before he starts shooting again. The run continues from there.

Compare the dots on the cue ball and the stripe on the object ball to the picture before the splice. Steve was pretty observant to catch it.

Dude you must really want some attention to post that 83 after the prior event. You might need to get some help. I think you are going to be getting the wrong kind of attention and that is too bad.

For others on the site thinking of augmenting your runs I would not reccomend it, one thing the pro game of golf has going for it is the integrity of the players. In my opinion 14.1 has the same thing the players are honorable and the game is honorable. This is truly the pockets billiard game of the player vs the table please keep the Memorex out of the hi runs.

thanks dennis: i got it when i read completely your previous post. i think i was spoiled by blackjack's explanation, diagrams and arrows.

yeah, that would have been difficult to catch in a rolling video. good job...

like last time, rather than be contrite, he gets defensive. that more than anything is what turned me off to the guy and made me realize that he has serious problems that go beyond moving balls.
