Rank your achievements

I have run 10 racks of 9 ball in a row. I can't claim break and run as I didn't make a ball on every break, but I did run 10 in a row without ball in hand on any rack (I never scratched on the break).

I have bench pressed over 500lbs. I also did this while weighing 230lbs and also while never using steroids at any point in time in my life. I also never used a bench shirt.

I have squatted 650lbs while weighing 140lbs also never used steroids, or used any sort of helping hand equipment.

I have deadlifted a light duty truck completely off the ground, out of a ditch and onto the road.

I have completed 39 push-ups in 30 seconds

I have completed over 1500 sit-ups non-stop. I quit because I got very very bored.

I have been a guest on a radio talk show for no other reason than I was just there.

A lot of people could have done this, but it's still one of the things I'm really proud of, so I'll rank it high :)

In Manila a family of 4 (to be 6) were sleeping in the street, just outside the poolhall, and I bought food, diapers and blankets for them daily. Then I collected lots of autographs on a poster during World 9-ball Championship, sold it, and used the money to buy more for them next time I went to Manila. My nephews aged 6 and 8 even gave me some of their savings for this :)

Been there 3 times, and I've bought them food and stuff every time.

It's impossible to save the world alone, but you can make a difference in someone's life, atleast for a day.

Don't know what they are doing now :(

Good heart :)
Any time I have ventured into a poor nation I never seem to be able to spend money on souvenirs. I end up giving it to the kids working the streets instead. I know they're hustling, but they get fed and I feel good so we both win.

Nice catch, Jay:D! Yeah, she was there, although she was extrememly "out of it" after the epidural (sp?). After 32 hours of labor they performed a C-section. This kid is awesome!

EASY - lol. My boy was 10lbs 10oz, and came a day before the due date....I told her she coulda been late and gone for 11lbs....I got HIT for that one. BTW, epidural - yes, C-section - negative. How am I ever supposed to live up to 10-10 and 22 3/4" long?! :p He is absolute perfection (when sleeping - lol), and easily my greatest achievement as well. MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL!

I am changing my reply to "While you are telling the great achievements, also put down the 2 things you are the most ashamed of that you ever did" and I will consider this a serious thread.

All right buzz kill I will go:

I once stole a calculator from a kid's locker and sold it. I don't know who it was so I can't make up for it. When I say I don't know who it was I mean I don't know the face or name. I just kept picking lockers till I found what I needed. It is the only thing I ever stole and I still feel bad about it.

I also once slept with a chick and jump out of her window after I was done. It was pretty rotten and I do feel bad about it.

Ok

I don't know if you have ever heard of Quarter Midgets but I won 2 Florida State Championships, 3 grand national championships ans set the track records in Florida, Ga, Al, Indiana and Michigan.

I graduated highschool at 15 years old.

I thought I was so smart I didn't need to go to college.

I built one of the biggest wholesale parts departments in the US with over 1.5 million in sales per month.

I raised 2 children who are honest and that anyone could be proud of.

I have sponsored 4 exchange students.

I salute you for your honesty sir.

I can remember mine like it was yesterday...

It just snowed about 2ft and my neighbour, cousin and I went out to play. After a few hours we had to pee.

My cousin decided to write in the snow, DB
My Neighbour wrote, Albert S

I wrote, Jason Robichaud... I had a little left, so I added "was here 1982" then underlined it all and finished with "Ha, I wrote my full name!"

In high school made all-state in football and basketball sophomore, junior, and senior seasons. Also hold the scoring record for boy's basketball and my mother holds the scoring record for girls basketball. Both records still stand today. Mothers record since 1943 and mine since 1978.
I also QUIT SMOKING after smoking for 35 years!!!!!
Lived in a small town that had 1 pool room which i owned 21 years.

I played #1 seat on my college golf team, won 1 college tournament at Spring Creek Country Club in Modesto, CA, and won the Tuscan Ridge Golf Club Club Championship by 4 strokes all in the same year.

Number 1 is easy: Married a wonderful woman.
Number 1(pool related): Won a national pool tournament 3 times in 7 years.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all !

Some pretty impressive accomplishments by people on here! I mean REALLY impressive!! We have a lot of very talented people here. I'm feeling pretty humble right now, like I need the five ball in life!

Accomplishments

When I was in grade school, we played each other in sports and also played the Junior High. I made first team baseball as a 4th and 5th grader as a catcher, and I was just a little shit, but I was the only one who could hold onto the ball that a 6' 6th grader could throw.

Always made 1st team in baseball all the way up through High School.

In the 7th grade, and only being 4'6 1/2", and 70 lbs, 112 guys went out for the basketball team with 12 on the final team, and I made the team.

2nd fastest rope climb in the history of the High School.

In the Navy in Bremerton, Wa., offbase with a couple in the basement of the house, no pay for months, down to last $5, went into a popular bar there, ordered a draft, started playing 8 ball for $1 a game, ended up winning over $650 before done. Bought over $150 in groceries for the couple (with 4 month old baby) and me, diapers, milk, steaks, etc.., back in late 60's.

Survived 3 tours of Viet Nam in the Navy.

Got my A.A. and B.B.A. degrees, went to technical school after college, and graduated with honors and tutor status.

Playing on a church softball league, never had hit a home run before and hit 4 home runs in one game.

Developed Direct deposit software for Learjet in the 70's. They were the 2nd corporation to have direct deposit in the state of Kansas. They called it "Sure Pay".

Developed a Costed Bill of Material (up to 9 different levels including phantom parts) that could be requested for 1 part to a whole airplane and printed anywhere in the company for Learjet. It would completely cost out the airplane including manufactured and purchased parts. No other company in Wichita had done this, including Boeing, Cessna, and Raytheon.

Placed 9th (9,10,11, and 12th were assigned) in the Valley International Tournament in 8 ball in Vegas at the Riv (over 1,000 players). Team placed 16th one year and 32nd another year.

Ran 11 straight racks of 9 ball from the break playing for $100 a game.

Won the BCA Kansas State 8 ball Championship in Singles and Team at age 55.

Survived 4 marriages to 3 women ... lol
