Rankings? Matchroom Rankings more important than BCA,WPA,etc

seems everytime I hear the pros talk, they only care about the moscni cup rankings. apparently the BCA rankings and WPA rankings dont account for any benefits to their career.
is it the same for other countries?
which ranking system is the most valuable?
jus curious because there seems to be one in every continent and no universal system

Matchroom matters due to the tournament with a guarenteed nice payday. Until this sport has an actual professional tour where you need to have a certain level of ranking points in order to keep your tour card rankings are not worth much for the most part.

Every time I think of the North American representative to the WPA, i.e., the Billiard Congress of America, I am reminded of the catchphrase, "Where's the Beef?"

American pro players get a little bone with not much meat on it.

WPA definitely doesnt seem to do much at all in pool.
