Nick Varner said he had this cue made around 1985. It has two shafts, both with dense growth rings and ivory ferrules. They both have Joss in white letters engraved in the collars. I measured both below the ferrule at 12.95mm. I used only one of them for a couple of months, so only one is as clean as it is in these pictures. The other had a harder tip and I like softer. They were sold to me as dead straight, but I was scrutinizing them for this sale and noticed the one I didn't use is out of straight by maybe half a millimeter in the middle. It's not enough to make either end roll up off the table or to effect play.
The butt has "Joss for Nick Varner World Champion" engraved in the collar below the joint. The wierd texas looking inlay below the floating points forms the initials NV as do the inlays in the butt. The wrap is original and the cue has never been refinished, so it has a few battle scars; you don't have to give it it's first ding. The cue weighs 19.5 with either shaft.
Asking $450 shipped with insurance.
These are pics I stole from the original sale. If you want current, better or specific pics, I can take some when I get home, but I assure you, the cue is as I described. Thanks for looking.
