repost this on the main forum when you can also post pics and ask for help with the value/pricing.

Once you determine what the value is, *then* you can post it here with your selling price.

If you prefer to just get offers, list it on eBay.

What right do you have to command another member to follow a set of imaginary rules?

His post broke no actual rule.

I needed a refresher. This one stands out.

6) If you are going to post in another's sale or trade thread, if you are knocking their thread, you will receive warnings and bans as with regular rule violations.

EDIT:
I'm all for helping folks out even though it should be done via PM - or not (but then open FS threads up to unlimited bumping again).
This post is more directed at negative and useless bumping going on, also I was told to go read the rules, so I did.

a brand new member makes their first post asking for offers on a cue because they don't have a value established.

I let them know how they can get a good idea of the value on the main forum and then come back here to sell their cue with a sale price.

Or, list it on ebay for the offer/auction format type of sale if they prefer.

And you have me pegged as the bad guy?

An fyi; a long time ago I tried selling something here the very same way and I was pm'd by the mods letting me know to change my post because it wasn't allowed.

I was trying to be helpful to the new member and all of us here who take the time trying to be considerate and do the right thing.

What exactly are you guys trying to achieve?

Further, I welcomed him to az and offered him Good Luck with his sale, both sincere. I may have missed it if you guys did the same.

and btw, the op thanked me for my suggestions and has reposted about this cue with pics in the main forum and it looks like he's beginning to get some good responses regarding establishing value. A couple of guys are thinking it may even be a Burton Spain front.

Imagine that.

thanks,
brian kc

I like the pics I saw of the cue, classic design.

- Does it roll straight?

- What is the weight?

- What is the diameter at the tip?

- What are you asking?

13 mm ed yung custom shaft.....20.5 oz cue....shaft is straight...so is cue but doesnt roll straight due to the crack on the butt...besides that cue hits great....one owner last 30 yrs...asking price 1,000 or best offer
