Rare Whitey Micheals GinaCue 1967-1969 Vinatge

Here is a rare Ginacue for your veiwing Pleasure!!

The cue was made for a Famous Seattle Pool player Whitey Micheals in the late 1960's. I have been told by the current owner that this cue was cue Two of only four made.

I am certain that some of the older AZ Billiards members have heard of Tacoma Whitey.

Just thought that I would share some photo's and honor the memory of Seattles best known player.

manwon...Beautiful cue! Ernie comfirmed that he only made four of this design. I own one of the other three, that I picked up off a player who was broke, in the early 70's. On mine, where your cue has a "boar's head"???, mine has a silver block, engraved with my name. Also, orginally, mine was wrapless, with a birdseye/ebony/birdseye handle, in the wrap area. I didn't like that, so I had a linen wrap put on in the early 80's, at the same time I had Bill Stroud make me a matching larger diameter shaft (everybody played with 14mm in those days...and the Gina had orginally come with an 11.5 and a 12.5). The first one was made for Champaign Eddie Kelly.

Whiteys cue

I think I actually hit a few balls with this cue back at the 'Green Felt". It made me consider a Ginacue. But my first fancy cue was a Tad, for only $65.
