Rate These Cues

Yeah, what Jamie said. Prewitt is in a completely different tier of cue market than the other three. "Plain Janes" for over 2k and points with inlays for over 5k. Not quite apples to apples here.

I also agree with Marcus's assessment, but the one aspect that seems to have been left out of this thread is...

A Prewitt with the same amount if inlays is going to cost at least twice as much as the same cue from any of the other 3 makers.

With all due respect, I think that if Ed Prewitt happened to be located in New York for example, his cues would be more expensive yet. They are made with more precision and finesse than some of the HOF cuemaker's cues...Tom

Not trying to disagree. Just wondering how the Ed Prewitt cue that is new that Cornerstone cues has for sale fits in this pricing?

Description is: "This stunning traditional veneer cue has mitered boxes, fancy rings, caps and ivory inlays-it also comes with Moori tips."

Price is $3,350.00

This is way less than 5 grand.

You're right. I think you are trying to disagree. 4 point cues for 4k. i was going off westerncue site. A Nitti with 8 points is the price of a Prewitt with four points. Doesn't change my initial statement much does it?

How about the rings?
EP's rings are much more intricate.

Prewitt, Nitti, Carmelli - Blackcreek?

I would have to agree with most of the previous assessments. I have all of these in my collection except for the Blackcreek, so the jury is still out. I would like to try out one of the Blackcreek cues. Anybody have one to trade? Cash is a little tight at the moment but I have lots of barter stock. Thanks.

I just played with a blackcreek that I purchased from Tank138. It is by far the best hitting cue I have used to date.
