Rauenzahn Full Splice with Paper Veneers

This one is in the works, the pictures are from Jerry. Full length full splice, Brazilian rosewood on birdseye, black paper between the coloured veneers. Will also have elephant scrotum wrap, veneered windows below the wrap and Jacoby Edge Hybrid shafts (if Jacoby will finally sell them to me). Delicious!

Lemme know what you think. I will update this thread once the cue is complete. I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank Jerry Rauenzahn, he is an awesome cuemaker and communicates so well.

First!!!! What what what? You did not just say Elephant Scrotum wrap? I've always heard about using elephant ear. What's the reason for using the skin of his ball sack? Ouch!!

By the way, those veneers are great. I'm sure it'll be a great cue as it's coming from one hell of a cue maker. Pls post pics when completed.

The cue is sick.

And frankly, so are you for requesting an elephant scrotum wrap. Not only do you seemingly want to have the yambag of a non-human land mammal in your hands, but you also finished that thought with 'Delicious'.

I worry about you.
 
Thanks for the comments guys, can't wait to get this one on my hands. Actually one of the reasons for getting an elephant scrotum wrap is purely for the jokes, the possibilities are endless! I'm not sure but I think Mika Immonen has one on his Mezz.

Had to google that one and it seems you're right, guess I should stick with elephant ear.
 
Jerry -R- builds one hellva cue, no dout about that. I had a beautiful -R- awhile back & it still haunts me that I sold that cue. Please keep those -R- pics coming.

i think they do....however they internal....so there is elephant sack just has to be pulled out of the elephant......talk about a dangerous job....I SURE COULD USE SOME ELELPHANT SACK WRAP MYSELF....:thumbup: IT IS THE NUTS.....just as kenny murrell....
 
Im just guessing here, but if you used a scrotum for a wrap, would that negate the need for a cue extention, if you held it with a tight grip !!?! :grin:

What a concept, if you rub the wrap the cue will play stiffer!!!
