That looks like a Cocobolo joint. I had a Scruggs with one as well as a Scruggs with a Tulipwood joint.

Neat cue.

The joint is rosewood over stainless. Very tight crush fit joint. Super solid. If your preferance is Ivory over steel good chance this hit is the same. Ivory over steel? Rosewood over steel ? Big money!

Rinrs or inlays?

Silver or Nickle silver? And are these inlays or rings? I say inlays in 3 positions.
Looks to me like 16 inlays. Here they are in the bumperless position.

I think there's little doubt it's a silver ring that was indexed and drilled to accept silver dots after the fact. Great cue!! Tasc's hit big!
