Hey everyone I have a Fischer bar box in my basement I picked up dirt cheap a while back from a friend. When I bought it the simonis was brand new and I didn't think anything of it to see about how fast it played. I now have had it for about 3-4 months and play about 20 hours a week on it. The cloth is visibly loose under my bridge hand if I move it and I can feel that I could re stretch the bed felt to tighten it up. Is there any chance this will be a problem or should I just go ahead and tighten the cloth up and re attach ?

The cloth can be restretched, although if it needs to be, that's an indication it wasn't stretched right to begin with.

Yeah definetly asnt stretched as needed when they installed it. But for 400 bucks table with brand new simonis, new extended rails with 4.50" pockets and 100 bucks extra for the tv color centennials I was just trying to get it before he took it back lol.

So if I just take the skate back off unglued it and stretch like hell I'm good ? Any tips or advice ? The faster that thing plays the better.

Scrape off the old glue residue on the slate if any.
Use 3M-10 Scotchweld Adhesive when reinstalling the cloth.
