One of my personal goals in life, as a billiard mechanic, has been to set up pool tables for a major pro event. Last week along with Paul Smith and Corey from Diamond we set up the San Diego Classic. I was honored to be asked by Paul and to work along side with other Diamond mechanics. I also want to thank Glen for all the work he has done sharing his techniques and developing my skills, without you Glen I wouldn't be working at this level and I wouldn't have the same relationship with Diamond.

you know me, here some picts.

Nice! How many tables? And how long did it take? Sounds like a fun job!

six pro-ams and two professionals. The two professionals was more work than the pr-ams. Monday we started at noon: got the proams in place, recovered two of them, leveled two and carried the professionals up stairs. finished working about 8:30. Tuesday, I did one professional while Corey did the other, we started at 9am. I finished my table at 6:30 and left because my daughter had surgery the following day. I came back Saturday night. The night ended with 4 girls left at midnight and we loaded up five pro-ams, move one to the center of the room, dis-assembled and loaded the professional and finished up a 5:30am.

Nice! I know we enjoyed working on the Derby this year. That was always one of those things I wanted to do when I was young in the business. I always watched tv matches and thought "How cool would it be to be the guy that sets up that table!" It's awesome being a part of that process. Glen always talks VERY highly of you and your work. Congrats on getting the "big job"!
