READ if you're listed in the mechanics directory

After considering the comments in the other thread and some off forum discussion some changes were made in the mechanics directory.

The aim is to recognize those of you that contribute your expertise as well as post pictures of your work. I wanted to use the  but there is a limit of 10 smilies and images that can be used in one post so color coding was the next logical choice.

Before anyone gets their pants in an uproar - if you're not blue or green and should be let me know IN THIS THREAD.
Unfortunately I can't remember every post or picture so if I missed you it wasn't intentional.

Good job Rick, that seems to be a great start in the right direction. I guess i'm going to have to post some pics
sooner or later. You may want to give people a time limit to post, and then remove them.

I'm trying to find some pics of Glen's tables so I can post them under my name. LOL

That will be the next thing you try and stop, wouldn't that be funny, posting pics of someone else's work. LOL

Good job, and good luck with the job ahead.
I'm sure in time you'll have everything perfect.

Thanks Mark.
I'd expect we won't have any bogus-pic posting but that's easy enough to deal with if it comes up.

Regarding pictures

Going forward -
one or two pics of a completed table is not going to cut it for obvious reasons.

Ideally you should post pics that show:
-slate showing your seam work
-your rail work top and bottom
-covered slate showing finished pockets
-one or 2 shots of the finished table
-pics of major problems you found and how you fixed them

For extra credit and the entertainment value:
-pics of what the hack did when table was last done

Thanks to Rick for all the effort his has been doing.

You will have to trust me, the pockets are perfect!

Yes,my installation. You have to look good in 10 mil homes!:grin-square:
