The obvious answer: to make money.

There have been thousands of imitation Meucci cues made, knock offs, clones, copies, whatever you want to call them.

Actually it does look like a fake to me.

Or worst case it's not a M.O.

The ring work looks 'wrong' to me, compared to all my M.O.s and the lack of logo even in a refin is 'odd'. I've had Meuccis refinned and never lost the logo 100%. It has to be refinned anytime you change the wrap so its not uncommon to have to do it.

No where close to real if you ask me.
This cue on ebay has no color in the sky on the butt and the "road" rings are way too big, and the logo isn't going to disappear without serious wear and the seller claims the cue was only used a few times. Complete BS. Stay away.

I've seen many of these on Ebay...but never saw one passed off as a genuine Meucci.

There are lots of fakes out there...even fake Adam cues, right now on Ebay...as well as JOSS, Schon, and others....

Thanks for the all the opinions. I didn't like it.

The auction has ended. I especially didn't like the pin and the brass insert in the collar. The pin on a Meucci never has a nice bull-nose.



And I really don't like Meucci using a Meucci Original stamp on these new Meucci cues. I see he has four of them listed.

People are already confused about when a cue was made. I really don't like all the Factory 2nd Meucci Cues being sold either.

With today's technology, you'd think that the quality of a production of cues would be better where you would have so many Factory 2nds.

Any thoughts or opinions? I'm just miserable and shouldn't worry about it...but I love Meucci Cues and hate Meucci sometimes.:smile:
 
Not even close to a Meucci.I have a daytime and nighttime Road Agent if anyone is interested.
 
Could you PM me a ballpark figure for the night time RA? I know someone who is always on the lookout for a good one.
 
i use to sell that same stick in 1988 & 99 my cost was $24 an that was too much.so yes lots of knock offs out their. ps i did not call it a cue lol
