Recommend me a break cue?

anyone played with a Billiard Warehouse jb? they're on sale now for 150 with free shipping and come with 2 shafts for jumping adn breaking. never played with one, though.
 
Cuesticks are like cars, ya gotta drive em before you know if you like it or even fit in em. Take the plunge and create a ''starting point'' within your price range, then down the road you can try others and compare having an initial reference point, kinda like your first/second and third cuestick. Ya gotta start somewhere.

I think the web page for Jian Ying is jy147.com, the ebay guy is MT Billiards. I've always got a better price buying directly from the company but a couple of times it got to be a nightmare with them coming right from the company. Every now an then I'll get an email from MT offering deals on some of the cues, for the price they're really not that bad

I've tried a J&J and my buddies Cuetec break/jump cue and it seems I get the best break with a 17oz house cue. The house cue is a Mueller's and probably has a LePro tip. I've tried several weight house cues from a 16oz to a 21oz and the 17oz seems the best to me. Perhaps I shoud try some other break cues but I'm satisfied with the house cue. I've noticed that several others just use a older cue already in their possession for a break cue. Does a break cue really enhance your break and make more balls? Doesn't do it for me.
 
The Best hitting Break Cue I have Used, Lucasi Big Beulah 2. They are like $280 shipped with jumpy! This is my next Investment!
 
Well, just keep in mind it should be longer and medium-heavy to heavy, and make sure the tip isn't prone to damage from high-powered shots. Any stick in that category should do. After all, the stick itself does matter, but the hand which uses it matters hell of a lot more :grin:
