Just starting back playing, I quit before all this new shaft technology came about. I like a medium/stiff hit, what would you guys recommend? Also looking for a solid jump break cue. (Not looking to break the bank as I'm not sure how much I'll actually be playing ). Thanks in advance.

Buy a used Schon. Good thing is you can resell it later when you and if you decide to step up. Shafts are every where and reasonable.

As for a Jump/break, I used a J and J for a long time and it works well and under a hundred bucks. Best bang for the buck. I keep one around as a spare.
