I am traveling again. Wife won't join me to Vegas. So, I am looking for good food, good music, and good 9ftrs. I suspect Vegas has lots of good places. Any recommendations?

Shaft,

Las Vegas Cue Club in the Commercial Center off East Sahara. The room is about a mile east of Las Vegas Blvd. Twelve great GC III's. Lots of Valley BB. Four Diamond small tables. The Brunswick's are Ernesto's handywork. Evenings, if you want a game, ask for Greg Kuhl. He'll point you in the right direction.

On South Decatur just South of Spring Mountain Road is Pool Shark's. Three Diamond large Smart's, three Diamond small, two Brunswick GC V's. One's a Tournament edition. Lots of lesser tables available. Mostly Global's if I remember correctly. Evenings ask for "Thumbs". Like Greg, he'll find you a game.

Mickey's Cues and Brews is a really nice room. On South Eastern Blvd at Warm Springs Road. Five Diamond large Smart Tables. Perhaps seven or eight small Smart Tables. Several Brunswick GC's. Cold, cold beer. Lots of nice people. Not sure whom to ask about a game.

Good luck and welcome to Las Vegas!

Google las Vegas billiard buzz. It has all the local info. Mickeys is where I play when I can take the smoke.

Go to Mickey's which strangely is not listed under "pool halls" in google maps.

The Cue Club had filthy tables the last time I was there, but I think they have the only public carom table in Las Vegas.

You might try Fatboy's

Bob,

Guess I must play there at different times than you. Always find the GC III's clean. The Valley's on the "other" side were just recovered. Hope they are in much better condition now. The Cue Club has two billiard tables. Not sure where the second one came from. A Gandy I believe. Doesn't get much use. Biggest problem is finding a time when the old table is available! There is usually a group of friends on the table every afternoon and evening when I'm there. They play "King of the Hill". The Snooker table is also very useable. Lots and lots of Golf. House rules though!
