Record 10b Break?

I recall some months back, maybe even a year, it was reported tha SVB made 7 balls on a 10b break during a money match somewhere in Aisa, maybe Thailand.

It was reported here on az by a member who said he witnessed it. btw, Shane was hooked and didn't get out. :angry:

Was that a world record? 7 on the break in 10b is incredible.

Then, this past weekend on the Turning Stone stream, Upstate Al said that Jayson Shaw made 7 balls on a 10b break recently.

Does anyone know if these are records or does anyone even keep track of such things?

Jeez! That IS impressive.

Best I've ever done was to make 7 balls on the break in a 9 ball rack once. 6 object balls and the cue ball. Never made 6 object balls before or after that so I still walked away proud. lol

I've seen a guy at Strokers in Palm Harbor make 6 on on a 10-ball break. He got out.

Shaw made seven on the break against Joey Korsiak during the Predator Pro/Am finale back in December at Raxx. As the balls dropped, Joey halted the entire room to alert everyone, and sure enough, only three balls were present on the table.

Jayson's first shot was a table length draw from (and back to) the short head rail, and he brought it all the way back to the corner pocket and nearly titty-hooked himself. The ball stopped just shy it, and he was able to get out.
