Hi,
Welcome to the frozen fraternity. We're skiing crap and you guys are in the fresh??? Next step is 5 months worth. Have fun and drive safe!

I live a little ways out.. in a more rural area northeast of Dallas... the roads are packed with snow and ice last night (and we're not all that used to that)...

My son says he wants to play in the cash tournament last night, so we put the jeep into 4 wheel drive and make our way there..... the funny thing is,... there were more people there for the tourny than ever (and my GF said it was too dangerous to drive in it)

Just so's ya knows... all four wheel drive does for you in snow and ice is to let all four wheels spin at the same time! :D

But it does make some people feel more secure, so that is something, I suppose. And it truly is helpful if you get off the road and stuck in a snowbank.

Best of luck to you folks. Fortunately for you, it'll all be melted away in a day or two. The snow here, on the other hand, will be with us till mid/late March if we're lucky, and possibly into April.

Well, I'll just respectively disagree. It seems like it would be similar to mud, where it IS possible that all four wheels could spin, but it would give more drive traction when all four wheels are under power and helping move the vehicle.

but, I won't argue the point,.... I'll just agree to disagree.

This snow is beautiful but it's already melting off (which is good for us in Texas who are not used to driving in snow)
