recovering first bar box

@dontlitethat- Thank you as well for the info! We have a really old Valley (model 43) 4x8 that has a PILE of spray glue built up. I think it's time for us to upgrade to the 3M Scotch-weld 10 and get rid of the spray glue mess!

Where is the best place to get / order the 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Neoprene Contact Adhesive 10
from?

Also, here's a nice how-to on replacing cushions that recommends using 3M Scotchgrip 10 {Now Known As- Scotch-Weld} http://www.poolfelt.com/cushrepl.html

Don't forget' if you cut the cloth off flush with the bottom of the bar table slate remove the pieces of cloth in the middle of the aluminum cross supports

This could or could not be true...If there is already a considerable amount of glue build up on the bottom of the slate, even if you scrape the old glue off, chances are the slate or slates have already saged to the center which may require you to do even more shimming to bring the center back up. Slate holds moisture which means it will warp. Once tthe slate has reformed itself then you can go back in and remove what shims is needed. To get an idea of how the slate is after scapping the bottom of slate, put you level in the middle of the table and bring it to level, then slide your level down to one end, check for level and repeat for the other end,if your level reads low to the center you will have to shim the slate on the cross members. Otherwise when you roll the ball from side to side the ball is going to roll to the center.

How is he not getting the glue on the upside of the cloth? These vids are amazing, lol. I liken them to The Matrix, or some Spielberg movie with alot of special effects:D

it's how he folds it prior to applying the glue ....it's not just a haphazard folding; it allows protection of the playing surface.

And be aware that you need to roll it onto the roller evenly. Don't let a glob drip off the side of the roller onto the cloth ,it will soak through if you let it sit.[ It was perfect till I saw that ].
