recut vs veneers -which one is stronger?

between having veneers vs recuts..which process makes the forearm structually stronger?

I just want a cue to have the best playing qualities while being the most cosmetically pleasing.

Looking to use ivory veneers/recuts

I think whichever one has the better A-joint is stronger.
 
Given that the material is the same, no noticeable difference. That said, I prefer recuts.
 
Both are very strong if done properly, the biggest variation in a finished cue could be the weight of the hardwoods used in the recuts.
