I once made a case out of old cloth, might be time to do another one.

I recently bought a used table and got new cloth when it was delivered/set-up. The old cloth was actually in pretty decent shape (about 25 years old, but not played a helluva lot) but I wanted new cloth anyway. The old stuff went to an after-school program.

Couple of years ago we took 25 Old Pool Table Cloths to the VA to hand out to the homeless for drop cloths to sleep on. Say one homeless guy with one lashed to his back pack. Guess he was one who is using the Old Pool Table Cloths as a ground cover.

Back in the late 60's and early seventies I was making leather 'envelope'
cases and the lining's were made from pool table cloth. It worked great
and I think that they held up better than anything eles would have. I made
the pattern, cut them out and paid a seamstress a dollar each to sew them.
Life was good!

I covered my poker table with some old cloth from the local pool hall and it works great and looks perfect

I keep a few squares of 860HR in my case. One I like to drape over the crown of the bridge so that if my cue shaft decided to bounce a little, the shaft doesn't get dinged up. The other I keep around to clean/wipe down my shaft without water, also to help remove dirt and moisture from my bridge hand.

Now this is interesting....

But unfortunately I'm going to have to call you out not only on the jump handle "sock" but also on the double diamond design.

My attorny will be in touch with details regarding licensee options and/or cease and desist.
;)

Is it possible to take a piece of cloth off one 9 foot table, and put it on another, identical, 9 foot table? The look of it on the other table is unimportant, just as long as it fits.

Several years ago I built an 11 person poker table with a padded rail. I used old pool table felt that I flipped over since the back side looked brand new. Turned out wonderful and served me well over the years when I used to run poker night every Friday and Saturday.
