red rubber pool cue bumper?

A young friend of mine, just today, asked me if I could track down a red rubber bumper for a custom cue he owns. I had to telll him that I personally could not recall having seen one. He thinks it will enhance the appearance of his cue, so I told him I'd ask around. This is the best place I know of to "ask around."

If I remember correctly what John Barton said....he didn't retire...just slowed way down. You may want to try and call him at a few different times. I know I reached him not too long ago.

The last time this question popped up I'm almost positive that someone contacted Huebler and he said he would not sell any parts, including bumpers.

If you're looking for a true red, or other colors for that matter, I have heard success with lathing skateboard bushings they use in the trucks (metal hardware that axels the wheels) that can be glued in, and bought separately at skate shops.
