I agree wholeheartedly with your praise of George. His live on-the-spot commentary taught me more about 14.1 thinking than I had ever learned before. I used to see George practicing at Chris's almost every time I went there (haven't been there much lately), and have seen him giving lessons several times, but never took advantage of the opportunity myself - snoozed again!...that George Fels did an amazing job with the commentary at the Red Shoes qualifier. I co-hosted with the first two matches and I done, was burnt out. Geo kept rolling, picking up co's along the way and did the whole magilla. I dont know how. It wasnt so much that I had run out of stories to tell, it was that I was out of motivation to tell them.
More important than his stamina was the quality of his commentary. I myself, learned plenty about 14.1 just sweating George's analysis. Others could do well for themselves also giving a listen.

As for the tournament - I was surprised at the short runs, especially with players like Lou Figueroa, Tommy Karabatsos and Jeff Mohl. Did anybody even hit 50?
I used to play some 14.1 with Mohl - one time he came back from summer vacation after not playing at all for a few months and put 60+ on me his first time at the table. He just never seemed to go cold.
