Any pictures of the bottom of those rails, showing the staple work. I've never seen anyone use a hammer to set the featherstrips in the 40 years I've been doing this work, but I've seen plenty of GC rails with the formica showing lots of hammer head marks from pounding in the featherstrips.

Yeah... seen lots myself. Not sure your technique, but I use a rubber mallet and a piece of 3/4 pine board with old cloth glued to it. Never have a mark.

WOW after 40 years you have never figured out how to use a hammer not to leave one single mark, I was taught that in the late 70s. I didn't leave a single mark on the table and it looks plus plays like money. I must be alot better at this than you.

Why people continue to support that guy, I'll never understand. I can guarantee he isn't as good as he thinks or as good as his butt boys claim. I've played on a few tables he did, they were good, not a lot better than most competent installers do.

So I take it you're not going to show the fine work you did stapling the cloth in the bottom if the rails, let alone your pocket work, so that others can see how great your table turned out, you're the best😅

So am I, I got the reaction I expected, happens everytime you ask someone to actually show their work, they always take offense to show the pictures that truly show how they did the job. Kind of like putting lipstick on a pig, don't that just make you want to kiss her😅🤣😂
