Two Aramith Red Dots -- one much lighter than the other

Just wanted to point out there are two different red dots. One that is heavy and returns in old Dynamo tables like a blue dot that is the one you probably measured. The other one mimics a red circle but not very well.

You're exactly right! There are indeed two different Aramith Red Dot cue balls, with different weights:

Aramith Red Dot Dynamo (the heavyweight of all cue balls -- 6.72 ounces):

Aramith Red Dot (this is the one that mimics a Red Circle, and, at 5.875 ounces, is much lighter than the Dynamo Red Dot shown above, and half the price):

Hope this is helpful,

Any info on a blue circle cue ball?

I have a set of Brunswick Centennials that I bought in 1997 that came with a Blue Circle cue ball. All balls in the set measure within .001", and all weigh on my digital scale between 5.93 & 5.95 ounces. Very nice set of balls there.
