Confession time. Forgive me father for I have sinned. I think I gave Eddie green instead of red. I meant to counteract the large dose of green he got an may have given him more. At the present time I am seriously contemplating suicide. My girlfriend has taken my rusty but trusty .410 away from me. Somebody tell me this ain't true! Help me Rhonda.

Yes...I called Ed a jerk via PM. I know...blatant name calling isn't permitted. But it's a quote. :-p At any rate...this was the response I got from EWwwwww regarding his shenanigans with Charlie's cue.
And Charlie's suppose to believe he'd build him a cue?

Lessons that Eddie simply fails to understand:

1) Putting the customer first goes a long way.
2) You can't say "....I couldn't give a damn what anyone else has to say about this transaction..." because we....your customer pool....gives a damn
3) Saying "I'm sorry", goes a long way.
4) A full refund is not a dollar lost today....but an investment for the future.
5) The world of custom cues is not just about the cue, but also a relationship with the customer. The cue, in itself, is not just an end-product, but a journey that is made with the cue-maker.
6) A little humbleness and humility goes a long way.
7) When the customer says he wants nothing to do with you, he means it. Stop prodding him.
8) Aggressive and predatoral advertising tactics are pathetic. Were you once a used car salesman?
9) You can't put on your sig line: "CUSTOM-FITTED "TOOLS" TO THE CUSTOMER'S EXACT SPECIFICATIONS" if you are incapable of doing this.
10) Saying "I'm sorry", goes a long way.

Yeah I'm a real jerk ~!!!!

The only thing that was wrong with that order is that the shafts are too long apparently !

Other than that he received exactly what he bought !

He Made out on that deal NOT me !

I offered to build him another complete cue at NO charge so he will have 2 for 700.00 and FYI the one he has already is worth close to a 1000.00....

Sorry you feel that way about me...

Is it close to $1000 value in Eddie Wheat Gift Certificates, or Monopoly money?

I would love to see the math on how Eddie is out money on this deal. The sum of the parts of the cue wouldn't add up to $300, even if he bought everything premade by Prather or Atlas. It's his fault he dragged his ass getting the cue done, so the hourly rate he gets reimbursed for his work is directly proportional to his poor organizational skills. He was able to spend hours a day on AZB, but couldn't get the cue done?

Looks like you sent him from 596 to 528 (page 18).
An honest mistake.
Just hop back on the RED ED express!

Mr edwards...

I assumed responsibility for this ONE bad transaction that I was willing to rectify by building you an entirely NEW cue at no charge just to attempt to make you 100% happy !!!

You made a personal transaction public which has ZERO to do with anyone else but us and then on top of it you even remarked how well it hit and was constructed but act like I rippied you off !

What do you want from me ? Would you like me to send you all my wood inventory, my lathe the rest of my equipment and whatever other personal assets I have left just to make sure you got the best end of the deal, since the cue offer isn't enough !

Becasue this is about much more than a piece of wood isn't it ?

So mabey if you owned everything I have would that finally be enough to compensate for a a little extra length you got on both shafts and the 2 less points you weren't charged for on the 550.00 price to begin with !

I couldn't give a damn what anyone else has to say about this transaction but I will state this is the ONLY bad transaction I have EVER had and you are making this paramount !

I have offered to correct the problem and even build you an entirely new cue at NO charge so you will have 2 cues with 4 shafts w/ ivory for 700.00and apparently that isn't good enough for MR. Edwards so what do you want me to do to make you happy with this transaction ???

Please refer to post #467, this thread. Keep it up Wheat, I think you have a real WINNER here !!!!!!

Ok guys, we need to get a few things straight.

First and formost, the rules of this forum apply to everyone, not just EW.
Many of you have crossed the lines many times in your frenzied rep orgy.

For the people calling for his removal: I understand what you are saying. I also understand that there are people expecting cues from him.

You'd have me sacrafice thier needs over your's? ( whatever your needs may be )

For the people saying lots of other ridiculous crap, beware.

For whatever bad descisions EW has made lately, he hasn't been breaking the forum rules. I am not, AZB is not and nobody here is working for the BBB. Even the BBB won't shut someone down.

Unless he begins breaking rules, I don't intend to remove him.

Next, the rep system is being abused here. If you feel you need to unload on him, you just weaken the system and prove that it is a popularity contest, not a serious tool for measuring a poster as legitimate.

.....and Cuetecasaurus made that point long ago by requesting red rep over green.
