I didn't mean who had the biggest ass...hell, I'd forfeit right now. I meant who had the more "shapely and defined" ass for a man vs. a woman.

Please. I like pool. Heck, I love pool. I certainly spend all my time in a pool room. And I still don't have a boyfriend...much less a husband. So guys can't use that excuse...because there ARE gals out there who don't mind if a guy is always in the pool room. And I here plenty of guys say that is what they are looking for...and then one comes along and they have to find some new excuse not to make a commitment. Sheeeesh! :D
Exactly. Like I said before, I dated 3 pool players, one of which was a Pro, and supposedly they all liked it that I would sweat their matches and that I was always there in the poolrooms, blah blah blah.

The first one ended because when I thought he was mine, he was everyone else's.

The second one ended because he didn't like that I was always in poolrooms (like, we met in a poolroom. anyway, we're good friends now)

The third was that I knew way too many men and didn't like that pool was like a drug addiction. Huh?

I would bet something on the fact that was the pro player you dated. Unfortunately that's more the norm than should be in the pool world. Before I get blasted.... I'll admit that it's everywhere in the world, but it's VERY much alive & kicking in the pool world... if he's a pro player or a gambler on the road... most of the guys that make their living off of pool... pro tourneys, road gambling, etc... cheating is accepted among their peers.... ugotaction... if you find a girl that accepts your love for pool & doesn't give you shit about it... respect her & don't cheat on her.... be a bigger person than some of the others...

No, actually the Pro was the second one that didn't like that I was always in poolrooms. He's one of my bestest friends now and I think it's just better that way (needless to say, the majority of people I met were introduced to me by him--other pros, people from the industry, etc--which led to Breakup #3 where I knew way too many guys.

Men can be silly some times.

See you soon!

I need opinions on whether or not a relationship is good for a pool career or for a pool player in general. is it worth it? does it mess things up? or make things worse or more stressfull ? tell me what you know from experience or from plain knowledge.

If you have to ask, you probably have to give up one.

I could never understand how your second boy friend(I call him a saint like) and Frankie( wannabe Hoodlum)) are close friends. They are like day and night.

Mike T.....You are right about finding a comfortable medium and understanding. It is hard to find someone that is not involved in pool that will sit around waiting for action. I can imagine how someone sitting around must feel when you sit there for hours and then nothing happens. Hopefully you are right that there is a fellow pool loving person out there for everyone. I also agree that the guys that play good and gamble have it easy when it comes to getting girls. There are alot of girls in the pool rooms that don't even play but hang out there just waiting for the good players to come around. They are totally attracted to the way they make money and even better the way they can persuade people into playing. The girls are too stupid to figure out that they are being hustled too. I call these people "groupies". And to answer your question it is lack of experience for the most part and a couple bad experiences. Pool has always been more important so dating has always taken a backseat. I have to admit, if a tournament or action calls and I have a date scheduled, the date will be cancelled. Therefore...not many dates for Sarah.

Timberly you are right about the good guy players and their lifestyle. It is horrible that certain things are accepted amongst them. I too am "one of the guys" so I have heard the comments and goings-on. It is hard for me to look positively at relationships because of the things I know of. It is even harder to be looked at in a respectful manner. When I go on the road it is automatically assumed that because I am a girl I am there to sleep with the guys....that assumption makes me sick. I agree that if someone that loves pool and travels and whatnot meets a girl that loves pool and maybe can play a little too and most of all loves you too...don't treat them bad. It's like finding a rose among the thorns. Oh yea...and if it makes you feel any better....I have a major ghetto booty too. :)

9ballgirl....it's strange always strange that the person you have everything in common with would not like you being around the pool room. I have noticed that alot of guys that play pool get kinda jealous of their girls being in the pool room. I have some guy friends that get jealous if I'm talking with other guys. It seems so ridiculous. If you are leaving the pool room with the same person everynight or going home from the pool room to the same person everynight and you trust each other that is all that matters.

You would think. Damn the law--lets you and I get married!

I suppose a lot of people derive more satisfactions from a success in their career more than anything else. To become successful, may be it is a must to put one's career as one's first priority?
