I have removed the weight bolt from my cue and now, it is around 18 oz. Would like to get it down to 17 or, perhaps 16. Only way I can imagine is finding some woodworker with a lathe who could bore out some wood from the butt. Suggestion? Thanks
I too like a lighter cue. I have and Al Romero sneaky pete that weighs right around 15 oz. It is one of a few Al Romero cues that I have owned over the years. Many people try it and like them and then I end up selling it and eventually buying another one. If you can't find anything and don't want to drill your cue I would consider selling you my cue if interested.
If I were you I would look for a lighter cue or have one made to your specs rather than drill out your current cue.
