I wouldn't advise using anything that strong on a laminated shaft.
Acetone is the only thing I use to take Cyano off my fingers.
If it will dissolve CA, it might also dissolve whatever adhesive that is used to glue the laminations.
this is one of the 3 million documented uses for duct tape......
