Reno Update

The suspense is killing me!

Danny "Kid Delicious" Basavich is on a roll! If he's got his focus and is in the zone, he may go all the way to the finish line, especially with an extended race at the end as opposed to having to beat the hot-seat holder twice!

It would be interesting to know what equipment is in use (Sardo or wooden rack) and race length. If I recall correctly, no jump cues are allowed in this venue.

Good luck to the Final Four! :)

They use wooden Diamond racks and probably a regular double elimination. I say that because the usppa even prior to the pro event finally changed to a true double elimination rather than an extended set and I imagine they will do the same for the pros.
p.s. yes jump cues are banned as per Tony Annigoni

yup. i dont imagine many vancouver players can say they took down a US open winner :)

Horsfalls won a couple tourneys with the big boys, although I don't know if he's ever beat Corey. He beat Strickland and Soquet a few years back at the Interenational tournament of Champions and narrowly lost to Bustamante.

Mike was a big surprise. RJ
