flat face joint

without a lathe repairing the chip of the flat faced joint is almost impossible. might be able to just reface the joint.

does your cue roll straight?

Chips in the finsh you can put ca on some cues bepending on the kind of finish. then cut excess off with a razor blade and rub out with polish cream or buffer wheel. if you havent done this I strongly suggest you try useing ca on somthing else first.

best of luck but I would send the cue back to who ever made it .

If there is nothing keeping the joint from coming completely together, and it doesn't show, then I don't think I'd worry too much about it.

I agree- if you can't feel anything wrong, you are good to go.

So how did that happen? Throwing star trauma?

And I see you are new...tell us about you? Where from? Where do you play?

Did you ever win 1st place?;)

The pictured chip will have zero effect on anything. Wouldn't touch it.

The other finish chips, depending on how large , can usually easily fixed with a drop of crazy glue and some light wet sanding. Then polish for a nearly indiscernible repair.

Where are my manners.
