Replacing bk2 break tip

How hard is it to do? I'm thinking about putting the white diamond on it but unsure if it will hold.

It shouldn't be a big deal if you have the right tools. There is no reason the WD tip would be any more or less difficult to glue than the phenolic that comes on it.

It just like changing any other tip. I put a Samsara break tip on my with no issues.

Make sure that you leave the black pad under the BK tip or the shaft will shatter and wont be covered under warranty. It comes on a sticker on the shaft when you purchase it. I have a dynamite tip on mine and I love it!

the reason i ask is because a friend of mine put a wd on his break cue and it broke off in 3 days. who in the nc or sc area can do this?

I had one, left the black pad on it and the ferrule still shattered. Predator wouldnt touch it.

I have replaced a few and never had any issues.
In fact most people say they like the way the samsara plays better than the stcok ph. tip it comes with. More control and less chance of a miss cue.

Joe Blackburn put a white diamond tip on my BK2 at SBE this past March and its been breaking balls regularly since, without any problems.

Seems like any good cue mechanic should br able to get this done for you with excellent results.

Why don't you try Charleston Billiards, Dennis Rash sells Predator equipment and should be familiar with working on their equipment. Joe Balckburn is the man though!
